AI agents, and the systems that make them dependable.

I design the routing, retrieval, evaluation and human checks that let agents do real work in production. Computer Science at the University of Washington, graduating December 2026.

Work

Three software engineering internships, each closer to the place where models meet real users and real data.

  1. 2026Jun – Sep · San Jose, CA

    TikTok

    Software Engineer Intern, Intelligent Creation

    • Built a 24/7 event-driven Python service that triages creator feedback for Effect House, TikTok’s AR effects platform, cutting triage from ~2 days to under 5 minutes.
    • Wrote the AI routing step, grounded in past cases, and the context assembly for an internal LLM agent. 40–50% of cases now need no human edits.
    • Had the agent check logs before drafting, raising answer accuracy on non-bug questions from ~75% to ~95%. Still in production for two teams of 100+ people.
    • Designed the 70+ dimension rubric and LLM-as-a-judge method for an agent that plays AI-generated browser games: 2 minutes per game instead of 30, with 85–90% human agreement.
  2. 2025Jun – Sep · Shanghai

    AGIBOT

    Software Engineer Intern, humanoid robotics

    • Built the ingestion and publishing stages of a Python and ROS 2 pipeline that turns data from 3 LiDARs, radar and 8 cameras into 3D occupancy ground truth, across 150,000+ frames.
    • Automated timestamp-sync and frame-drop detection, cutting costly re-collection by 20% with 99.97% frame integrity in published data.
    • Created a 3D-to-2D projection toolkit with OpenCV, PyTorch3D and Open3D that sped up annotation cycles by 30%.
  3. 2024Jun – Sep · Shanghai

    Tencent

    Software Engineer Intern

    • Developed a semi-automated 3D point-cloud annotation tool in Python and Qt with model-in-the-loop pre-labeling, used to label 10,000+ autonomous-driving scenes.
    • Containerized its services with Docker, cutting environment setup time in half.

Projects

Things I build on nights, weekends and hackathons. Most of them are agents, or tools for working alongside agents.

More builds

WebVoyant

DubHacks 2025, team lead

Describe a test in plain English and an agent writes and runs the Playwright workflow across browsers, using Gemini 2.5.

Ruxi

TypeScript, self-hosted

A team of AI coding agents you tag in Slack. Each request becomes a task with a live checklist and a short result.

slack-bro

TypeScript, MIT

Claude Code in Slack, with one Agent SDK session per thread, streamed replies, approvals and per-session costs.

codex-kaboo

Next.js, Convex, Clerk

A usage dashboard for a team sharing one Codex account, fed by a small collector CLI.

workflow

Shell, Claude Code

Open a GitHub issue and get a draft pull request back. An automated loop driven by Claude Code.

miniAgent

Python

A small, transparent agent for biology work, built so you can see every step it takes.

Research

Undergraduate research on the data and agents behind scientific and physical reasoning.

Spring 2026 – now

RAIVN Lab, Allen School

Advised by Prof. Ranjay Krishna

I built an eight-stage pipeline on Slurm that produces simulation-ready 3D assets at the 100,000 scale as training data for a physics reward model. It chains segmentation, image-to-3D generation, mesh repair, collision decomposition, simulation and deduplication. It supports a lab paper in preparation.

Nov 2025 – Jun 2026

Ruohola-Baker Lab, UW Medicine

Department of Biochemistry

I developed an LLM research agent for T-cell rejuvenation research. It generates hypotheses, records experiment data and builds the lab’s knowledge base, using retrieval over literature and lab data, web browsing and self-verification.

Toolbox

What I reach for most often.

Languages

Python, TypeScript, Java, C and C++, Go, Rust, Kotlin, SQL

Agents and AI

Agent workflows, RAG, MCP, LLM-as-a-judge evaluation, LangGraph, FAISS, PyTorch

Systems

Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, gRPC, Redis, CI/CD, Slurm, ROS 2

Product

FastAPI, React, Next.js, Svelte, Tauri, Playwright, Qt

Let’s talk.

I’m looking for new-grad roles in software and AI engineering. If you’re building agents that need to work for real people, I’d like to hear about it.
